Siliguri falls under the humid subtropical climate zone STRENGTH
BIOCLIMATIC CHART
Site is surrounded by residential and agricultural land

Due to Mahananda River on North-East side it expe-
riences cool breeze during summer

Site having two main road of 15m and 7m

Having easy access to road and other public facil-
ities like hospitals, market

WEAKNESS

The wind flows through the north , east and northeastern
part of the site, which gets washed by the river Mahananda,
thus making it cold, which is of great concern , during the
WIND ROSE DIAGRAMS months of winter.

The site is fertile, but is deprived of the normal vegetation
within itself , which leads to harsh dis-balance of ecological
conditions on the site.

OPPORTUNITIES

Markets is about 50 meters of reach which provide jobs
JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH APRIL and also outsourcing of several raw materials and other
products for the people residing there.

Many small scale factory are located near by which helps
in several raw materials both during construction and also
during running time.

MAY JUNE JULY AUGUST THREATS

It is an earthquake prone zone having a previous recording
of 4.3 richter scale that lasted for 4mins 57seconds in 2014

Gushing wind at the rate of 4km/hr is evident from
the north and at times the east direction of the site,
SEPTEMBER OCTOBER NOVEMBER DECEMBER which is a boon in the summer but threat in winters
