Shri Vineet Gupta, IRSEE:94, is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, where he completed his B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, and IIT Delhi, where he completed his M. Tech in Social and Behavioural Sciences.
He has about 30 years of experience in the Railways, working across varied fields ranging from locomotive and power infrastructure maintenance to general administration and Metro infrastructure construction and maintenance.
As Chief Vigilance Officer, he has focused on preventive vigilance in HUDCO and brought about major systemic improvements in the areas of procurement, project assessment and human resource management.
