HUDCO’s CSR grant assistance for the damaged
houses/infrastructure in the flood affected Southern
districts of Tamil Nadu. Chief Secretary, suggested
HUDCO officials to follow-up with the Rural
Development and Panchayat Raj Department. CMD
requested the Chief Secretary to explore the possibility
of executing MoU between State Government and
HUDCO for financing the housing and urban

infrastructure projects in the State of Tamil Nadu.

districts and suggested HUDCO to closely follow up
with Rural Development and Panchayat Raj
Department for the CSR proposal.
• Secretary infomed HUDCO that there are lot of
bankable projects for implementation and insisted on
competitive interest rate and flexible terms and
conditions.

Meeting with Shri T Udhayachandran IAS, Principal
Secretary, Finance Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu

CMD informed that HUDCO is in the phase of changing its
operations in response to the Dynamic Demand and
conveyed HUDCO’s willingness to offer tailor made
project funding based on Hypothecation of assets/
Mortgage with varied financial models, Structured/
Telescopic repayments and Bridge funding. HUDCO’s
USPs viz., long tenure and one year and three year fixed
interest rate and HUDCO’s Consultancy Projects were
also discussed.
Secretary informed that SIPCOT and TIDCO has been
working on bankable projects for implementation under
Mortgage / Hypothecation and Cashflow model such as
