ECO-CONSCIOUS ARCHITECTURE-
SHADING

Roof overhangs on alternate floors combined with
vertical fins not only complement the aesthetics
of the Ripon Building but also provide excellent
shading to the windows which allows glare-free
natural light.

The shading has helped reduce the Solar Heat
Gain Co-efficient (SHGC) of glass used from 0.29
to on the North and South facades and 0.15 at
the East and West facades, leading to almost no
heat gain into the building.

This ensures adequate levels of natural light
throughout the workspaces without the heat
ingress.

All windows have been designed to be operable
allowing occupants to stay comfortable with
natural ventilation.
