STATE-OF-THE-ART INCINERATION TECHNOLOGY

The Municipal Solid Waste-to-Energy plant is based on globally proven and state-of-the-art incineration technology to thermally
process & dispose waste in an environmentally sound manner while generating renewable energy. The major process steps are
             built around:
             1. Waste receipt bunker
             2. Multi-stage combustion furnace grate
             3. Heat recovery boiler
             4. Steam turbine
             5. Flue gas cleaning system.
Electricity in the waste-to-energy plant is generated by combustion of Fresh Mixed Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in a special
designed furnace, capturing the heat from the gases in the boiler which converts the water into steam to drive a stream turbine
which is in turn rotates the electrical generator to produce electricity. The flue gases are passed through a stringent multi-
stage cleaning system to meet global and local emission standards and compliances.
