20 September 2025. The event was inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD along with Prof. K.G.
Suresh, Director, India Habitat Centre, as Guest of Honour. They interacted with the children and inspired
them to envision an inclusive and sustainable future. CMD emphasized that the initiative is not merely about
art but about empowering children to dream, express, and inspire through creativity and is an integral part of a
         legacy of three decades.

A flagship part of HUDCO’s World Habitat Day celebrations, the competition provides children from vulnerable
communities a platform to showcase their vision of an ideal urban habitat. This year’s event, themed “Urban
Crisis Response,” saw participation from about 200 children and included a new Live Talent Show where the
children showcased their skills in addition to their works on the canvas.
