Digital mapping done on the exterior façade of David Sassoon Library as a part of Mumbai Light Festival
URBAN DIGITAL MAPPING

For an entire month post inauguration, the Mumbai Light Festival did a light projection on the historic façade to engage people
along the street facing facade of the building. The visuals and patterns of this mapping were inspired from the building itself.
The entrance foyer hosts an exhibition highlighting archival maps and books from the library’s collection. This exhibit gives a
glimpse of the library’s treasure trove of books to the over 1000 monthly visitors. As a future plan, lectures, book readings
and public discussions are planned in the restored Library
