THE RESIDENCE

The residential complex is an integrated building with single banked corridors that connects the whole complex. The
complex consists of 4 elevators and 8 staircases. The area between two staircases and elevators is not more than 30 m.

- The staircases from the ground floor begins from corridors in front of the courtyards.
- Whole of the ground floor is reserved for the assistant living, to create a barrier free design. 1 bhk and 2 bhk modules
for the assisted living are provided on the ground floor around the courtyard.
- Studio apartments are provided adjacent to assisted living. These studios will be occupied by assistants for the elderly.
- The studio apartments of the assistants are provided near the staircases in case of emergency.
- Spaces for palliative care / Intensive care are also present on the ground floor. These spaces are directly accessible
through ambulance from the back entrance.
- First floor encompasses 2 bhk and 1 bhk modules for independent as well as assisted living.
- Moreover, on the first floor, spaces for interaction are available in abundance. The single corridor of width 3 m, running
aalong the complex serves the purpose of an integrated and interactive complex.
- Accommodation for the homeless is also provided on this floor. 1 bhk modules are provided for them.
- Activity spaces for playing indoor games are also provided on the first floor.
- Second and Fourth floor plans are identical. The height-ed built forms maintain steady wind flow.
- Plans of third and fifth floors are identical. The advantage of G+5 height-ed built forms helps to shade the open court
yard from harsh sun.
- The courtyard is designed in such a way that it receives the morning sun in abundance and harsh sun in the
slightest.
