SOUND SHADOW
A sound shadow is an area through which sound
waves fail to propagate. This is due to topographical
obstructions or disruption of the waves via phenomena
such as wind currents, buildings or sound barriers. As
site lies near to the noise zones, it becomes necessary
to provide a sound barrier.
