PARTICIPATORY DESIGN PROCESS
While regular mass housing schemes use one template and repeat it, resulting in a cookie cutter design, the key flexibility
of Project Bhoomika is that same number of wall panels can create different combinations, without a change in the end
cost. The design team made scaled models and explained the possibilities with the beneficiaries.
