            Udaipur Smart City has employed numerous advanced and specialized techniques in implementing its projects to minimize
            disruptions, preserve existing infrastructure, ensure the reliability and resilience of essential services, and offer cost-effective
            solutions. Among these, several prominent specialized techniques stand out:

            •  CIPP LINING: Utilized for rehabilitating existing pipelines, CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) entails the insertion of resin-based
                chemicals within a fiber lining into the sewer line, which is then cured through steam or hot water. This technology has
                significantly  minimized disruptions to the urban environment,  preserving historical  sites and reducing inconvenience to
                residents.
            •  PIPE BURSTING METHOD : The walled city area of Udaipur is densely populated, and the utilization of traditional excavation
                methods poses a risk of damaging the city’s structures and historical sites. Therefore, the city has opted for the trenchless
                pipe bursting method, which minimizes disruptions to the urban environment and reduces the likelihood of damaging these
                invaluable assets. This method has further mitigated disruptions to residents, businesses, and traffic flow, ensuring minimal
                inconvenience during the project implementation phase.
            •  HORIZONTAL DIRECTION DRILLING (HDD) METHOD : Udaipur is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and historical
                significance. Traditional excavation methods could exacerbate congestion and inconvenience for residents and businesses.
                Additionally, Udaipur’s topography, characterized by hilly terrain and rocky substrata, poses challenges, making it both
                challenging and costly. Therefore, Udaipur Smart City has employed the HDD method, which minimizes surface disruptions
                and preserves the historical and architectural integrity of Udaipur’s walled city.
