SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROJECT

Udaipur Smart City has considered all sustainability parameters while planning, implementing, and executing the integrated
infrastructure package of the area-based development area. The following are the key sustainability features of the project:

• 24x7 Water Supply ensures efficient water management, reducing waste and promoting water conservation practices.

• The sewerage network enhances sanitation and mitigates environmental concerns related to untreated sewage, resulting in
the overall improvement of citizens’ health and water bodies.

• Storm water drainage not only prevents soil erosion but also manages rainwater, reducing the risk of flooding and enhancing
environmental resilience.

• The project’s focus on preventing frequent road digging ensures that residents have continuous access to services without
disruption.

• The underground duct system has ensured a reduction in disaster risk and safety for all.

• The project created job opportunities for the inhabitants of the ABD area, resulting in economic growth and community
well-being.

• The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system has ensured real-time monitoring and control of essential
services, optimizing resource management and reducing operational costs.
